1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CGK Studios ("CGK Studios", "we", "us") covering your access to and use of the IHSAA 27 website and application (the "Service"). By opening or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who may use the Service
You may use the Service if you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the knowledge and permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your access.
3. Not affiliated with the IHSAA or any school
IHSAA 27 is an independent fan-made project. CGK Studios is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the Indiana High School Athletic Association, MaxPreps, CBS Interactive, any television station, any school corporation, or any Indiana high school. School names, mascots, and marks belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification and commentary only.
CGK Studios is in the process of seeking the rights and permissions needed to use IHSAA names, marks, and content officially. Until that process is complete, nothing in the Service should be read as an official license, approval, partnership, or endorsement by the Indiana High School Athletic Association. This page will be updated if and when those rights are granted.
4. Rosters, ratings, and accuracy
Rosters, records, rankings, and ratings shown in the Service are compiled from publicly available sources and are updated on a weekly basis. Player ratings and simulated results are generated by CGK Studios for entertainment and are opinions, not official evaluations. We do not guarantee that any roster, statistic, score, ranking, or rating is complete, current, or accurate, and the Service must not be relied upon for recruiting, eligibility, wagering, or any official purpose.
5. Corrections and removal requests
Student-athletes, parents, guardians, coaches, and school officials may request that information be corrected or removed. Send the request to CGK Studios with the school, sport, and specific page or player. We review good-faith requests promptly and will correct or remove the information when the request is verified.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, dox, defame, or sexualize any student-athlete, coach, official, or other person;
- use the Service for betting, gambling, or any wagering-related activity;
- scrape, bulk-copy, resell, or redistribute the Service's data or media;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, including music or video you have no right to share;
- impersonate CGK Studios, the IHSAA, a school, a media outlet, or another person.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms, with or without notice.
7. Accounts
If the Service offers accounts, you must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us of any unauthorized use. You may request deletion of your account and associated saved data at any time.
8. User content
Content you submit — including saved playlists, lineups, and notes — remains yours. You grant CGK Studios a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you submit.
9. Controller support
The Service supports an Xbox or other standard game controller. The controls are:
- Left Stick / D-Pad — navigate menus
- A — select / confirm
- B — back / cancel
- LB — previous tab
- RB — next tab
- LT — previous category / page
- RT — next category / page
- View button — secondary / view action
- Menu button — options / menu
- Right Stick — scroll / secondary navigation where supported
Controller support depends on your browser and hardware. Vibration is provided where the browser and controller support it and can be avoided by using a mouse, touch, or keyboard instead.
10. Instagram and social content
The Social Wall shows content from official school and team Instagram accounts through Meta's official Instagram APIs and public Instagram embeds. CGK Studios does not scrape Instagram, does not store account credentials for you, and does not claim ownership of any post. Posts, photos, and video remain the property of the account that published them and are governed by Instagram's own terms. Where an account cannot be reached through Instagram's API, only Instagram's public embed and a link to the original post are shown. Account owners may ask CGK Studios to remove their account from the Service at any time and we will honor verified requests.
11. Third-party content and links
The Service embeds and links to third-party material, including YouTube video and audio and news outlet media. That content is governed by its owners' terms (for example the YouTube Terms of Service) and CGK Studios does not control, endorse, or guarantee its availability. Videos may be removed or blocked by their owners at any time.
12. Asset credits
The Service uses 3-D models and textures made by others, under their licenses. These works remain the property of their creators; we claim no ownership of them. Works licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) are credited below with their author, a link to their source, and their license, together with the forest asset packs used for the trees; the changes made for the Service are listed on the Credits page. Other models and textures were created for the Service or are used under license.

13. Our intellectual property
The IHSAA 27 interface, original artwork, simulation engine, ratings system, and code are owned by CGK Studios and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. All other rights are reserved.
14. Copyright complaints
If you believe material in the Service infringes your copyright, send CGK Studios a notice identifying the work, the material at issue, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief. We will review and remove infringing material where appropriate.
15. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CGK Studios does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CGK Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or reputational harm arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed twenty-five U.S. dollars (US$25) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CGK Studios from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
18. Changes
We may update the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access to the Service, in whole or in part, at our discretion. Sections 3, 4, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 15 through 21 survive termination.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and CGK Studios agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana, and each party waives any objection to venue there. Before filing, you agree to contact CGK Studios and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for thirty days.
21. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Rules & Conduct, are the entire agreement between you and CGK Studios regarding the Service.
